If you have a plug in for speakers you probably already have everything installed correctly. So click on Start and go to the Control Panel. From there Select Sounds and turn your volume up (also, check to make sure that it is NOT muted - unchecked). Also, check the button that says, "Place volume icon on the taskbar". That way, next time, you can turn the system volume up from down near the clock by clicking on the little picture of the speaker.

Check the volume settings on your computer and make sure the volume is up and NOT muted. Do this by clicking Start, and going to the contol panel, click on sound, speech, and audio devices, click on adjust the system volume. And set it to your preffrence. If that doesn't work, you might have bad speakers. And if that's not the problem then it's you're audio card. You can try reinstalling the drivers or replacing the card. If you get totally stuck feel free to email me and I will help the best I can

First, you need to make sure that you have a sound card. If there's one, you simply need to check the back of the computer, as sound cards always have a plug. In case there's none in there, you need to buy a new one.
If there are some in there, you plug the speakers to electricity, put the volume as high as possible and STILL it doesn't produce any sound, that means that you will need to install them properly. As a qualified adult to verify what's your sound card, get its drivers and then install those.
In case you did all this, it will probably be fixed and you will have sound.

Well, you have a built in sound card on your motherboard which may not be hooked up...you may have a "plug and play" sound card which isn't hooked right, or go down to the bottom right part of your screen and click on the little speaker...something in that menu may be muted...
