First, are you baptised in the Catholic Church? Second, are you confirmed? If not, you need to talk to your priest. He will assist you in getting this done. If you are baptised and are confirmed, then go to Confession, and go often. I go about once a month. After this, you can receive the Lord.
(Just don't do anything else, any mortal sin, that will make you have to go to Confession again ;). )
God bless,
Danny

If you are already baptized, then you can recieve communion whenever you want (as long as you haven't committed any mortal sins). If you are not baptized, then go to a local church and sign up for their program.

So long as you are still alive, it's never too late to receive a Holy Sacrament. Yes, talk to your priest, and he will see to it that you receive your First Communion. He may or may not want you to receive the Sacrament of Penance before the Holy Eucharest.
Your priest will be happy that you have elected to begin receiving the Holy Eucharest after all this time!

whaddya mean?
Go talk to your priest and he'll put you in some class for adults, I think. They don't let 20 year olds do 1st communion with the 2nd graders at our school.

Forget about the Catholic Church, it is a load of crap and responsible for some of the most horrible atrocities in the history of mankind.
