A depressed person feels as though they have no hope, they are at the end of their rope.
A rude person is just mean because they enjoy being that way.
Two totally different things.

A depressed person has an illness. A rude person lacks social skill. A depressed person can be rude and a rude person can be depressed. They are not always exclusive of each other.
Good Luck !

A Rude person doesn't feel bad about being rude. A Depressed person doesn't mean to be, and there is no intended malice in their words.

Well, first off, rude is how one would act, depressed is how one would feel. Someone could be depressed and be rude or act very kind, someone could be rude and be very content. ONe does not necessarily have to go with the other.
