Because all these losers are secular humanists. When man finds a cure for cancer and AIDS, and can stop floods, then and only then will I be more sympathetic toward the secular humanists--until then, man is overrated.

No, no, no. It is YOUR OPINION that Jesus Christ is real (as a divine entity, the actual person was, of course, real). You do not even have any evidence to back this up except for your little Bible (does anyone else find it hilarious that Christians ridicule The DaVinci Code, yet take this book of fairytales for fact?) You are completely entitled to your opinion, as am I. I just ask you to respect my opinion of the truth, instead of shoving yours down my throat.
Whoa, hold on. People think that that athiests are the ones with the pride and ego?! Lol, thanks, that's the funniest thing I've heard all week!

Answer: Because there are many paths to truth. There is no one correct belief system, no matter how many times people say there is. Christianity doesn't have an exclusive claim on the truth. Other viewpoints and beliefs are just as valid as Christianity. A belief in Jesus may work well for you, but Buddhism, paganism, agnosticism, or whatever, may be more appropriate for someone else. And that's okay.

why cant people just admit that no one can prove 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt that God exists, and no one can prove 100% beyond a shadow of a doubt that he doesnt exist? the simple truth is, either way boils down to personal faith and perception. so let's all get some humility and just concentrate on being good people and taking care of each other, and whether God exists or not, we would still be doing the right thing. Why are humans so dumb?

the christian God is not worthy of being called God.
Christianity makes a mockery of God. At the same time that Christians claim to worship God as an omnipotent, omnipresent, omnibenevolent being, they make him out to be incompetent bumbler. Or worse. Simple forgiveness is beyond his capacities. God must "sacrifice himself to himself to change a rule he made himself!"
This is not only an absurdity, it is an essential absurdity. It is present in almost almost all forms of Christianity, and one can scarcely remove it and remain a Christian in anything but name. By definition, all Christians worship Christ - in some form - and most worship him as a saviour.
But what, exactly, is he saving us from? Though it varies from church to church, no matter what they call it, it's God himself. A hell created by God, a world fallen as a result of God's negligence, a separation from God imposed... by God.
"It is a counterfeit love that is contingent upon authority, punishment, or reward. True love is respect and admiration, compassion and kindness, freely given by a healthy, unafraid human being."
- Dan Barker, Losing Faith in Faith
Christianity certainly isn't the first religion to promote appeasement of its gods, and if it were merely another supernatural protection racket, it would be bad enough. Unfortunately, it doesn't stop there. Christians elevate appeasement to the realm of "personal relationship", transforming their religion into a true monstrosity.
This is the type of "relationship" that abused wives have with their husbands, that brainwashed hostages have with their captors. It is known in clinical circles as Stockholm Syndrome. Should it come as any surprise that the cries of the church, "The Bride of Christ" sound much like the cries of an abused wife attempting to protect her husband?
"He must beat me."
"I deserve it."
"He has no choice."
"It's for my own good."
These excuses don't work for human abusers, and they work even less well for God. For if God is omnipotent, he must have a choice. And if we are flawed, we are only flawed because that is the way he made us. (No excuses that we ruined his perfect creation. A truly perfect creation does not self-destruct.)
If the Christian God does exist - and I see no reason to believe that he does - he's not worthy of the name.
And that is the ultimate absurdity of Christianity.

Because they are Spiritually blind.
In order to recognize that fact, people have to see through 'eyes of faith'....Unfortunately, there are alot of people with Spiritual cataracts! lol
also, 2 Corinthians 4:4. It also answers your question...
"The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God." 2 Cor. 4:4 (NIV)
Also - In case anyone gets any different ideas JESUS CHRIST and God are one in the same.
God Bless.

Why do you see that He is?
It is of no concern if they do not see. They still have the same spirit as everyone else. Jesus bought and paid for all of us. Not just those who have the inkling or the knowledge to believe.
Unbelief is a sin? Was a sin. Jesus died for sin, so that one is covered too.
