An interesting question. Nothing in the bible tells us information about that, but by thinking for a while, we can achieve an answer.

In the bible, it says "God made Men to His image and looks". So, we know that humans usually take their looks from their father and mother. In the case of the first humans, they were probably (and if you're taking that story as "real") just like God (in the physical sense). Would God have a belly button? No clue.

HOWEVER, think of something. The belly button usually appears after a baby is born, and the doctors fix that part of the baby's body. Since such technique surely didn't appear before the 10th century, I doubt Adam and Eve would have one!

I think some one already ask this question today.don't you have a belly button? i don't know if Adam did but Eve had to have one because she gave birth,so since Eve had one and She was created by Adam then he must have.

CHELA you're killin' me.
Adam did not create Eve, God did.
No female gave birth to Eve so why would she have one?
Just because she gave birth later on?
She would not require a belly button to give birth.
The child's belly button is connected to the placenta by the umbilical cord, not to the mother's belly button.
Do you know anything about child birth???
Maybe you should study it before you answer belly button questions...

And why would Adam have one? He came from dust, not a woman.

Nope. God *poofed* Adam into existence and Eve grew from Adam's rib - allegedly.

How silly, who can truthfully say? They were not necessary. Adam was created, and Eve was made, neither born-who knows.

I would have to say no. The reason we have belly buttons is from child birth - the umbilical cord. They were made by God.
