Ok, I'm already active, eat healthy and am creative, but when Anxiety hits, it's really hard to tap into these things... a viscious cylce begins (downward spiral?) I'd like to hear what real people do in real life, not in a self help book! (And I can't smoke up either, so please no "roll one up" suggestions. I wish! :) And I'm taking a while getting over a break-up which was in my best interest (?!) grrr... is that just a girl thing too?

you are already doing most of the stuff to help keep yourself healthy and "in balance". a couple of additions which could help make a huge difference are meditation and "energy work". through these you definitely build up a significant "reserve" of calmness, so that when something that would ordinarily knock you off balance, and de-energize you comes along, it will have a much lesser impact. that was my approach and it has worked quite well for me. research meditation techniques. check out www.sahajayoga.com. you're probably a very sensitive person, so you'll easily feel the "energy" coming from this site and the benefits it brings. also, read* the complete idiot's guide to toltec wisdom*. it explains how the mind works, and how to calm it down so the negativity goes away: a huge help. the real key is the mind and its self generated negativity. once you bring it under control per the above you will be amazed at the difference in your life. the best news is no matter what outer unpleasant circumstance arises, you'll be able to be detached and remain calm. good luck to you!

The only way I know of is to confront it and rationalize it. Its kind of a struggle, but once over the hump it goes away till you think of whatever was bothering you. While some shrinks say this is bad, I don't care because most of them be live in their form of pseudo science. If nothing works go get some prescription meds.

meditation is compassion. there are lot of confusion about meditation. even meditation will be incorrect. many human beings imagine that concentration is meditation.. yet concentration is pastime no longer compassion. compassion arises from deep love. and love is the basic history of meditation. for claming the pressure and the strain be attentive to you inner being. merely conscious. dont imagine you're the doer. whenever you imagine you the doer ego arises. and ego is the basic pillar of the all complications. take deep breath. and attempt to be witnesss. you're merely witness. your deep breath will safeguard your all complications.. under no circumstances imagine that you're doing all this. your inner being is the rolemaster and also you're merely witnesing the love and the interest-catching existence.

I'm right there with you. Maybe it is a "girl thing." I appear so competent in my day-to-day life and then something will just knock me down, and I think I'll never get up. Of course, we both know with time it all gets better, but it sure does kill when it's fresh.
