Umm they are not the same
LDS theology maintains that God the Father (Heavenly Father), Jesus Christ, and the Holy Ghost are three separate and distinct beings who together constitute the Godhead

the Mormon God isnt real
According to Mormons, people who follow their gods law become god, marry a goddess and get their own planet
so their god is just someone who used to be really good
sounds fictionalized to me...
people who think they are the same god are misinformed

The are the SAME GOD. Latter Day Saints are Christians that believe in God and His Son (I am Catholic, by the way)

Yes while we maintain that God was a man once and has experienced life for himself.
While the Christian God has no shape, no passions and is void of appendages (arms, legs, fingers and toes). This is also the belief of ancient Wiccans. Go figure.
But yes it is the same God just different beliefs in him.
