Plastic is not biodegradable. It does not decompose like paper or other things. So it does contribute to a lot of environmental problems. That is why we are needing so many landfills to keep our trash in. We actually should not use so much plastic. It will be here on earth long after we are gone.

Yes! In two ways.

One: Massive amounts of plastic packaging that is thrown away after a single use.

Two: Plastic is made from OIL! So making plastic and throwing it away is like throwing oil away!

yes it would be better but only if you switch to better stuff.
Go to paper pags and not recycle than you kill more thees
using a cloth (beach bag or such) bag at the store is always a good idea. for some reason it never caught on here in the US

recycle recycle recycle would help so much.

Plastic is convenient, but it has help to turn us into a "Trow Away" Society. Eventually, there will be no place to throw stuff away.

I think it is...I dont have ANY plastic of any sort in my home....I use glass only! Plastic is bad to drink from and the smell NEVER leaves.......Yuck!

we recycle everything at our house. Plastic, paper, glass and cardboard. If we all did this our world would be much prettier.
