Circumstances like that it should be allowed. But if it was just people having unprotected sex and not being responsible..... then it's their own fault and they shouldn't have an abortion just because they couldn't use a condomn. I think there is a pill that can be taken 72 hours after the rape that prevents pregnancies though.

You refuse to condemn the 14 year old for her father's crime but you don't hesitate to condemn the baby for its grandfather's crime? The punishment for the rape should not fall on the baby. There's nothing we can do to stop the consequences from falling on the 14 year old victim. Once she's already been through the trauma of rape, abortion advocates think they can take that away by throwing away the life of the baby. The only fair thing is to have the baby and put it up for adoption if she can't bear to keep it.

I could totally understand her situtation. This is a trauma that she will live with her entire life. However, the killing of an innocent child will not erase this. Even if the child is born with birth defects, this is not a reason to end its life. How many people today were born with birth defects, yet would tell you that they are happy that they are alive to begin with? How many people today were born as the product of a rape, but are just as normal and healthy as anyone else? They would tell you they are glad their mothers didn't decide to kill them.
Given the girl's age, I doubt seriously that she can properly take care of a child, much less herself, especially given such a horrific ordeal. She should consider an adoption agency, so the child can be placed with loving parents that can give the child a good life.
God bless,
Danny

Neither the rape nor the mother's age are the baby's fault. Would you kill a one-year-old child whose daddy was a rapist and whose mommy was 14? Of course not! Than why is the child in the womb fair game? The baby is innocent, helpless, and needs protection. He or she does not deserve to die. Furthermore, an abortion will only compound the grief and trauma of the young mother. When she realizes that she has become the aggressor, that she has hurt another innocent victim, just as she was hurt, she will begin to hate herself. As bad as rape is, it is not as bad as murder, and she will come to realize this in time. Also, child molesters often use abortion to cover up their sick behavior, so they can continue it! They know that the baby will display to the world what they have done, so they do whatever they can to hide it, including murder. Here's more information:

As bad as I hate to admit it, there are some valid reasons for abortion. We must never forget that to do so kills an innocent person who can not defend their right to exist. But in this case yes, and as soon as possible. If too much time has passed I would say no. We can never allow abortion except in extreme cases such as this-and them we must place very strict and very punishable laws on it.

I believe every child that is made should be born!!! Even if you don't want the child or can't help the child or what ever it is have it and give it up for an adoption or something. The people out her that can't have kids would love to have one !!! So i believe she should have it!!! Eventhough that is very sad but the father will be punished by GOD!!!

Many people are looking to adopt and it still is an inocent result that didn't ask to be born and should not be punished for someones horrible doings-not to mention it still is a part of that 14 year old.

This does happen and I wouldn't be the one to make that decision. I know people who have been in dire situations and drs. wanted them to abort or die. The ones I know did not abort and they are still alive, though some lost their baby. I would not condemn her but I would not know how to advise her.

Believe it or not, there are those who would rather the teen be raped again by outsiders by being forced to carry that fetus to term, at the risk of her life too which all childbirths are. It's insane.

yes you are right!
abortion should not be an alternative form of birth control but should be used in situations such as the one you describe also when the mothers life is in danger
