No. Please, don't let age get in the way. I just graduated freshman year, and I was not only best friends with but dated a junior. It's awkward in a social situation, but there is no real problem with it.

Age is just a number, Unless when speaking of 25 dating a 14 yr old, than I have a problem. But 2 yrs between you two is okay. Some 14 yr olds are very mature for their age and some 16 are immature, so you could date him and see what he's like. Maybe stand a better chance of not getting into trouble as easily as someone older...But than again.......NEVER KNOW!!! Good Luck!

relies upon on the a while. If the two is below the age of consent, they could make up a narrative approximately sexual harassment and get the different in worry. After that, 20 and 18 or 30 and 28, and so on - it gets much less of a deal as you become older. My grandpa and 'ma are 9 yrs aside :P

I don't really think there is a problem if y'all have such great chem. It is just that you are in high and he is in mid. I support your decision and show mad love and respect b/c my age difference limit is 1 year younger. THe only time when i think age won't really seem like a matter is when we both get in our 20's. If yall are still going out when you turn 18 you can't touch. No disrrespect just the law. but over all it is okay.

in certain age frames it is okay but at least make sure you are both old enough to drive because you don't want to be the one picking him up for dates and driving him everywhere he wants to go. honestly how mature can a fourteen year old boy be. it is a proven fact that girls are ten years ahead of guys in maturity

No but when you're 18, you can't date him cause he'll still be a minor and that would be statutory rape. If you still have feelings for the boy when you're 20 (by then he'll be 18) and he has the same for you, it means you're meant to be and you can date or get married or whatever.

in my opinion 2 yrs younger is a drop in the bucket compared to what others do i dated a chick that was 6 years younger than me but we didn't have good chemistry. if you like him and he likes you go for it it never hurts to try especially when dating

Two years is nothing to worry about. If everything else is good and he is mature, as you say, don't worry about it. Enjoy your friendship and remember that at your age there will be many more to come. Don't jump into anything.
