It is a correct saying that money doesn't bring happiness. You should see some of the folk in places where mines were in the USA. The people dont have a lot of anything and they are happy and far healthier than us who live in the cities. Stress related to making money and keeping what we have causes all manner of diseases. Look at Howard Hughes as an example of how money brings happiness. How did he spend the last number of years?

I dont' think it's that black and white. Money makes life easier if you have enough, and more stressful if you don't have enough. What you do with that emotional information is up to you. Some people are poor and manage to be happy. Some have tons of money and are miserable. If money is the only thing you are in serious need of, then yes, I think it can help ease your stress and therefore make you a bit happier.

Money doesn't equal happiness but it sure helps. people who have money tend to say money doesn't equal happiness but if they ever lived in below poverty like alot of Americans then they would appreciate their money and be happy. Reasons money equals happiness is less stress on getting the bills paid for one. knowing you'll always have a roof over your head and not wind up in your car. is this making sense to everyone i sure hope so. did you know that at minimum wage of what 5.15 an hour or something like that that falls below the poverty line but millions of hard working Americans do it every day and would trade places with the rich in a heart beat and be happy.

Money does not equal true happiness, despite what people may believe. Rich people are some of the (if not THE) most depressed people out there. So find other ways to make yourself happy, like feeding your spiritual needs.

Money does NOT equal happiness.

If in fact it did, my husband and I would have chosen to stay where we are at, with a nice income instead of moving and becoming unemployed, with no employment lined up .... where we will be happy.

Money can only bring you happiness material wise, and that only lasts so long.

Money=happiness. With money you get to do such wonderful things like eat, live indoors, and drive your own car so you won't have to take the bus. If I made more money I would definitely be happier.

no one knows how to practise moderation. humans
are the most efficient when it comes to controlling their
physical comfort, but other animals could only eat so much,
build so many houses no matter how hard they try.
so ppl have a better chance to screw up in almost every category
