like so many priests, pastors, and religious leaders are sexual predetors these days? i know that it can't possibly be the majority are but it sure seems like a good number of them are.

there are only a few assholes in the world but they get around a lot and do a lot of damage where they are. the reason we are so appaled is the contrast of evil in amongst the good. though we don't understand why some people believe they can be saved and refuse to give up on them. I believe their energy can be put to better use but I can't change their faith without destroying it's benefit
I am not so forgiving I say put them into servitude of the family of the victem for life without the rights of humanity to do with as they will.

I'm not sure if it is more common among the clergy, but we are just more likely to hear about it. The clergy are in a prominent position in their church. They are supposed to shepperd the congregation, and set fine examples for them in following God. When they prey on children, they betray the trust of the entire church. The media and victims are more likely to make it a public affair, especially when it is known that the church perpetuated the crime by relocating the priest, rather than making sure he was locked away from children.

As the second coming of Christ approaches, The power of Satan is increasing as it is written. He is gaining more and more power to tempt us. Who is it that he would most want to tempt? Those in positions to do the most damage. Just prior to the second coming Satan will be loosed with all his power for 7 years. That is literally when all hell will break loose!

because thats all the newspapers will write about when it comes to religious priests and preachers. they dont write about the 99 percent that do right because thats boring, so if all you read about is the less than 1 percent that are criminals , and you hear it over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over AGAIN, you come away thinking thats all priests and preachers must do, molest their victims.
