How about instead of God blessing our troops, WE bless them with sufficient equipment, good leadership and the promise to bring them home?

This sort of thing is really appreciated. The 'platoon mom' from my time in Iraq is going to stay on my Christmas card list.
BTW - about the equipment - it is best for civilians to stop trying to guess as to what we need. We know what we need and if we need it - we will ask for it. (Remember that extra and useless body armor that civilian pressure caused every soldier to get?)
