...I tell you the truth, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God. Matthew 19:24

I'll be surprised if I see Billy Graham in Heaven. Yes he was "christian" and all, but he denied the 4th commandment. Graham was asked about the Sabbath (Saturday Worship). He said he believes that the Sabbath/Saturday is the true day of worship. However, he keeps sunday because he "has been keeping it all his life". He knows the truth yet he turned his back on it.

I doubt if Billy Graham is going to hell..He lead many people to christ and has had a ministry that has never come under the financial attacks that others have. He has tried to lead a godly life that would put most people to shame.. I think Billy will hear a "well done good and faithful servant" when he gets there..
The real test is that you don't know how the camel got through the eye of the needle?? Right?? Because camels did..It is a trick question that requires local knowledge..

If you think that Billy Graham is a rich man.... you are wrong. He has lived all of his ministry on a fixed salary set by his board. You can even get a copy of the financial report of his ministry. He is a member of the Evangelical Council for Finacial Integrity which demand an audit of their books every year. He is a very accountable man. He gives to many other ministries. His organization pays its own way for all the crusades he holds all over the world. He also pays for his TV time which is very expensive. So get the facts before you knock someone...

Do you cut off your hand when you sin?

Jesus was speaking hyperbolically, obviously, telling rich people that they had better be extraordinarily careful about their attitudes.

I would not even think of Billy Graham as rich. Does he live a lavish lifestyle? Not that I've ever seen. What reasons do you have to think that he lives a rich lifestyle or that he's even rich at all? (Just because he's popular doesn't mean he's hoarded all that money for himself. The Pope is popular, but he's not rich.)

Billy Graham has done so much good that I highly doubt he is on his way to hell.

Although I have a hard time believing that a good and just God would send anyone there at all and think Hell is a fairy tale parents tell the kids to make them behave.

How do you link these together? Anyway, God doesn't say its impossible for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven because nothing is impossible with God. It may be difficult to understand, but if even Hitler himself had truly repented of his sins against God in his final hours God would have been faithful and forgiven him of them. What an amazing God of Grace!

How disrespectful of you! Billy Graham is a man of God who has led millions of people to the God. His life has been totally to preach the gospel and millions will be in heaven as a result of his ministry. My own brother-in-law was born again at one of his meetings in the 60's. Billy Graham has been blessed by God, but he has used very much of the money he has been blessed with to sow back into his ministry to help others. Please don't be sy cynical and divisive, but thank God for Billy Graham

Jesus was talking specifically about people like the rich young ruler who wouldn't give up his money for the poor, not because giving all your money away is one sure way of getting to heaven (it's not) but because some people will always feel more secure depending on their wealth than in depending on God. Being rich is not a sin, God looks at your heart, not your bank balance. Whatever gets in the way of your desire to follow God and get closer to him will be the thing you should try to overcome, whether that be money, sex, or alcohol. His Grace is enough to get anyone who turns to Him to heaven, but to grow closer to him, these things must go.

Assuming there is such a place as Hell why would Billy Graham go? Why should any rich man go, unless he obtained his money by evil means. At any rate I don't believe in Heaven or Hell so I don't think any one is going to either place.

You've got it all wrong.. Billy Graham is putting God above all He posesses. God blessed Billy for giving up His life and serving Him all His life. You probably did not know that Billy Graham saw his wife and kids only 3 times a year, and has been happily married for over 50 years. His first responsibility was to spreading God's word, and through that, God supplied all of Billy Graham's family with all of there needs and then some.

Jesus said to give up riches and follow Him. He is speaking of rich people who do not put God first in their life and above eveyone and eveything in their life, including their famiies, wives, children. God comes first, and Billy Graham followed that law. He is definately going to Heaven!!! praise the Lord!!!

God bless you continually Billy Graham!!!!

Dont forget Job who was the wealthiest man in his time. satan took all of jobs poessions, and God restored jobs wealth and then some for never loosing faith in God.

Regardless of what we c &/or hear, only God knows the heart & soul. Therefore, only God knows where Billy Graham's place of eternity will be.

Often it's been said that the folks u least expect 2b in Heaven will b there; the folks u expect 2b in Heaven won't b there & there'll b shocked folks 2 c u there. (Smile.)

Happy Sabbath.
