If they are calling you stupid, they are not your friend. You're smart, go get another friend or stick with the one that isn't calling you stupid.

Similar to previous posts -- you may be smart when it comes to school, but with common sense, you might not be the brightest.

Second, do you really have straight A's? To me, by the way your sentence is composed, it doesn't seem that you do. The phrase "...keep telling her that I get straight A's...", seems a bit odd; do you tell her or do you really have straight A's?

Book learning only makes one wise, not smart. You may be stupid in the ways of people, or you may assume you just know. The best way to deal with someone who insists your stupid is to agree with them, and ask them to explain themselves, thus learning what they know. Otherwise you could end up proving them right.

Well obviously she is jealous of you or insecure of herself. Trust me I was in the same situation and i'm at the top of my class so just ignore her because she obviously doesn't know enough about you to be saying those things.

Most people do that to make them feel better about themselves. You probably do better at school and your friend is jelous.
