It could mean that, but in the context you describe, it sounds more like the person wants you to call or write back, sort of an "I'm eager to hear your response".
In a romantic sense, it could be taken as a request for some token of your love that they could use as a reminder of you, like a picture, a CD with music that has special meaning to both of you...
wow, how quaint, and either whacked or adorable, depending on how it is meant!
I wonder, is he a serious Shakespeare buff, or off working at a Renaissance festival this summer? LOL

"Prithee" means "I pray thee" or "I beg of you." "Remind me of thyself"'s meaning will depend on the context. It may mean that they want to know more about you, or it may mean that they would like to keep in contact with you. You will just have to look at the letter and decide, based on the context, what the writer is implying.

yes. that is from shakespeare, although the exact play eludes me. it means that someone is not sure who you are. however, it could be a sexual overture, as in "remind me how you feel/felt". or they may not have used it right at all. lol

I'd take it to mean 'I'm a colossal tool and you should run far, far away from me', but he probably means that he wants you to give him cause to remember you, most likely by writing back.

no, it would be more like to remind them of you such as write, send photos, allow him/her to be reminded of who you are and what it is that they like so much about you.
