I'd say the general attitude in Judaism (not necessarily jews) is that:

abortion is sometimes good, sometimes not. Depends on the circumstances. (e.g. is the mother's life at risk?)

war/violence = war is never preferable but is sometimes necessary. e.g. someone is attacking you.

sexual ethics/homosexuality = sexual ethics should be followed. Homosexual relations should not be done, and we have pity for those with a true urge to do so. But, like a kleptomaniac, the urge should not be indulged. Sex can be a wonderful thing, but it should be done in the right way. (That goes for all issues of sexual ethics.)

I am not Jewish, but a Muslim, so should not be answering this question, but I know enough about TRUE JUDAISM to make an attempt.

TRUE JUDAISM as far as I know it holds sexual activity in a marriage setting a holy act, as it creates new life. The Lord said be fruitful and multiply, so it is also a mitzvah or a good deed, that helps the cause of GOODNESS and GOD!!

Sex is the basis of all new life among humans and the animal worlds. If all human beings and animals would not have sex for one generation, the entire life on this planet will vanish!! IT IS THAT CRITICAL!!

Abortion, homosexuality, contraceptions thus are all attacks on new life and an attack on the purpose of the creation of the sex of the Almighty Lord. However, if the crooks and the criminals are not making new children and letting them out on the World, that may not be a bad thing perhaps.. but always remember that these things deny someone new life.

If any one of our ancestors at any point in the past had been a homosexual or aborted one of our ancestors, we would not be here. So, do not deny those in the future whose lives are literally in YOUR HANDS!!

Violence, war, abortion, homosexuality etc are all attacks on life, so they are all related. Many of us may not think or realize their connection. BUT, it does not take an Einstein to see what I am saying.

If I am saying wrong, may the LORD MOST HIGH correct me, guide me. If what I am saying is right, may the Lord make it the means to guide others. Amen.

Ali

Strange, but generally the Jews are not against Homosexuals. Jews look at war, violence and sexual ethics as a part of life.

This question is flawed because you can only get one persons opinion at a time. Every Jewish person I know (quite a few) has an entirely different and unique viewpoint on these issues.

Even the far-right christian evangelicals have different opinions on some things. There is never going to be a right answer.
