usually you will loose a lot of weight the first few weeks of your diet and then the weight loos will slow down a bit. So if you are loosing weight in a healthy way I dont think you have anything to worry about. Just dont be discouraged when you start to only loose a few pounds a week.
A FEW THINGS TO REMEMBER:
The correct way to burn fat and stay healthy is to burn more calories than you consume
You need to make sure you are eating healthy foods while still excercising
If you have a big appetite drink plenty of water so that you will feel full but not consume calories
But you should always eat
If you start to skip meals you will only be more hungry at your next meal and probably eat way too much
Remember, the average persons stomach is as big as a slice of pizza scrunched up into a ball
So you shouldnt be putting more food into your stomach than what fits
Also, it takes aproximately 15-20 minutes for your brain to realize that you are full
so eat slower and you will realize sooner when you are not hungry anymore

8. Jog for Junk Mail - For every piece of junk mail u get each day, do 1 lap around ur house/ building, / up & down a flight of stairs. BURNS 35-140

For some people, that is not fast at all.
For others, that is way too fast.
60 pounds lost in a year would average to 5 pounds a month. Best wishes to your loss! :-)

It's not really healthy to lose that much in that short of time, because the likelihood of you gaining it back is much higher. Plus, it could have been water weight. 50-60 pounds in a year is definitely a very realistic goal, because if you lose say a pound a week that's 52 pounds. Just take it slow, drink lots of water, and try to get into a healthy style of eating as well as watching your portions.
Also girl, don't get discouraged if you gain a little bit back one week, especially if it's around your period. I did that and I fell off the wagon cuz I got so upset: I had been doing so well, and then that happened. Don't allow yourself to get as easily discouraged as I did. If you binge out on chocolate or something one day, don't stress about it, just move on. Trust me!

OK your talking quick weight loss , now what everyone else is saying is awesome ways to loose weight however its stuff that takes time and wont be done in 3 weeks unless you spend all day and night exercising but by the time the 3 week event comes up you ll be to tired and sore to enjoy what ever it is, now a quick jump start that could help loose up to 10 lbs within a few days is a colon cleansing regime . I know it sounds disgusting but it really works alot of people use it to jump start their diets , you can find the kits and local vitamin shops , health food stores, and on-line just make sure the day that you decide to do this you have the whole day off work, hope all goes well !!!!

A healthy average is 2 pounds a week they say. But, it also may be that you could be losing a lot of water weight at first. I don't think it's excessive. Congrats by the way!

doctor would recommend 2 lbs a week...BUT when you change your exercise and diet...frequently within the first month you tend to loose a large amount fast. its just that your body got a HUGE jump start to your "new life style". it will eventually level off to 1 to 5 lbs a week. your doing GREAT!!!
if you are really worried, talk to you doctor.

Did you know that losing weight with pills like that will speed up your heart rate and you will wish that you hadn't done that.My friend had a heart attack doing stuff like that.
