Did prophet Muhammed have sexual relationships outside of marriage?

Question

Many Muslims told me that prophet Muhammed had NEVER had any sexual relationships outside of marriage. However, when I read the Quran and the biography of prophet Muhammed, i found that he had two sex slaves:
1- The first one was "Maria" who was a Christian sex slave given to him as a gift from the king of Egypt. The history tells that prophet Muhammed had sex with her without marriage until she gave birth to his son (IBRAHIM) and then prophet Muhammed freed her and married her.

2- The second one was Reyhana Bint Shimon, whom was enslaved during prophet Muhammed wars and refused his offer for marriage (like what he did with two other slaves) and preferred to stay in slavery instead of marrying him.

Does anyone know why muslims always say that prophet Muhammed never had sexual relationships outside marriage although he had those two sex slaves?

Of course I agree with you that Abraham had sex slaves (or hand maids), who was HAGAR, but muslims also deny this and they say that HAGAR was his wife!

yes he has;
back in these days there was something called {slave women} and it was legal to have sex with these women for the man who owns them, but once they have a child they must be set free and get married to this person.

read these verses please:
"and those who guard their chastity, Except with their wives and the (captives) whom their right hands possess,-for (then) they are not to be blamed,..." 70:29-30
and also:
"O prophet ! We have made lawful to thee thy wives to whom thou hast paid their dowers; and those whom thy right hand possesses out of the prisoners of war whom Allah has assigned to thee;....." 33:50
so he wasn't doing anything wrong......!

Anyone who has any spiritual awareness at all realizes that monogamy does not work and it is not intended to be this way. We are meant to love many many people at once and never stop until we leave this earth. This includes men and women but society sets it up to where we are controlled in ways we live like this example. Learn to think outside the box! Just because society says its the way it should be, does not mean that we should behave this way! So your answer to your question is more likely YES if he is the profit and spiritualist you say he is. The Christians go crazy over the idea of Christ having a lover and he did but nobody wants to even accept an idea out of the ordinary because it doesn't fit their paradigm of thinking so go ahead and think the way you want but the reality is he did and so is everyone in life supposed to have. Life is about love not abstinence!

islamists have a very high regard for their females and to have anyone get the idea that a slave or anyone else would be used it too prepostrous for their innocent minds to comprehend.

islamists would rather we continue to see islam as the upright family oriented group who would never never expose family to dangers of any sort. This is why at the sound of any gun going off the children are immediatly herded off the streets and in to the arms of their loving parents. Sweets are kept at hand to celebrate when a stray bullet shot, in to the air, hits any child on the head. They just care too much!

Marriage was marriage in those days, concubines were concubines.Remember King Solomon had tons of wives and concubines. When Jacob married Rachel and Leah,they both came with servants that Jacob bore children with(Bilhah and Zilphah) also Abraham banged Hagar,Sarah's servant and bore him Ishmael the father of the Bedoiun types.This doesn't mean God cares for it . In Genesis he says "a man shall cleave to his wife(not wives) and the two shall become one".It was because He knew we can't behave ourselves that he allowed that and divorce and other nonsense to take place.And that my friend is why we need a "Perfect Substitute" our place,otherwise we'd have to pay for those crimes,after death.That person is Jesus.And that has to do with everyone.Now Muhammed was 600 yrs. after Christ,Buddaha was 500 yrs. before doesn't matter same rule applies.

Here is the translation, please feel free to point out where exactly do you see Muhammed peace be upon him was allowed to have sex slaves? You are using Quran's Arabic version to actually make false claims.

[33:50] O prophet, we made lawful for you your wives to whom you have paid their due dowry, or what you already have, as granted to you by GOD. Also lawful for you in marriage are the daughters of your father's brothers, the daughters of your father's sisters, the daughters of your mother's brothers, the daughters of your mother's sisters, who have emigrated with you. Also, if a believing woman gave herself to the prophet - by forfeiting the dowry - the prophet may marry her without a dowry, if he so wishes. However, her forfeiting of the dowry applies only to the prophet, and not to the other believers. We have already decreed their rights in regard to their spouses or what they already have. This is to spare you any embarrassment. GOD is Forgiver, Most Merciful.

these informations are false. as maria was the wife the prophet and she became muslim after he married her . I suggest that you must read about islam from muslim writers as there are people who are trying to insult the prophet the greatest man on earth pbuh by telling fake informations about him.
