Also, avoid all milk products. Sinus problems aren't the result of not having a certain type of food--they're the result of bad diet, allergies, or constipation in the digestive tract (normally cuased by mucus buildup from dairy products).

I find that lowering my intake of red meat and dairy helps with keeping my sinuses and lungs clear. I have asthma, so I can tell there's less mucus and easier breathing.
