It is a law that foreigners can only be here with a green card. Why do we say nothing and do nothing when our country is favoring people from other countries and their "rights." What about Americans rights? Why is what the American public wants placed second to what immigrants want.

And how do you propose we stop them?

We Americans are ignoring glaring issues such as this one because we are all too crazy busy to seriously lift our heads and take notice. Who has time to research policy.....to keep track of what politicians are doing next and the real reasons behind it all? On the whole (as shown by election '04), the average joe is voting against his own best interest and not even realizing it because all he's doing is soaking up whatever the media is telling him. And the media isn't concerned with showing all sides of issues anymore....they focus on drawing people in with entertainment and controversy. People eat up the figures on everything from unemployment, to illegal immigration without questioning how the figures were arrived at and if they are being shown the whole picture. Our lives have gotten so complex and fast-paced that we're like ostriches with our heads in the sand.
And, as far as I'm concerned, the American public's best interest has been side-swiped time and again lately. Immigration decisions are just a small part of it all.
Look at the reasons behind it all.....the more illegals in this country willing to work for anything.....the less pressure to raise minimum wage.

I really feel sorry for u and ur country.Even the British government faces the same problem, but I think they are now taking a lot of measures to curb illegal entry. But the truth is that u can only minimise the number of illegal immigrants,u cant completely stop it.
About the issue of 'rights',though am not saying the American government should not favour the rights of its citizens,I think its okay to favour that of the foreigners too while they are there ,coz we'd expect the same if we went to another man's country.

If we start to complain about foreigner's rights then we look bad and our government never wants to look bad. The government tries to level the playing field and treat everyone equally - but people who are not citizens or even resident aliens should not have the same benefits. Other countries do not privilege foreigners the way that America does - in other countries you become a citizen or resident before you can start to reap the benefits of that country.

What can you do? You can report them and they will do nothing. You can't shoot them. You can't go up to them and tell them to leave because the ACLU will be all over you for violating some made up right that they might have. I think they should just enforce the laws that are already in place to get rid of them. Fine the people hiring them and deport the ones they catch. Whats so hard about that?

There has been alot of out cry regarding this subject in the last few months. What do you think would be appropriate, going to the local Walmart purchasing some firearms and massing in the streets? It pisses me off as well but I do not know of anything that can be done other than bitching a moaning which I hate to do but if that is all there is? let me know and I will join you in whatever

Ranchers in South and West Texas offered to stop them. The Hispanic Caucus of the Democratic Party wouldn't have it.

Then, dick-heads like Dorie side track the issue with insipid irrelevance and the important question of why we can't protect America from the Democrats is forgotten.

Texas Co. Hired Illegals to Make MREs

McALLEN, Texas, Oct. 28, 2005
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(AP) A Texas employment agency was sentenced to five years of probation for hiring illegal immigrants to work at the nation's top producer of military battlefield rations, federal prosecutors said Thursday.

The Tollin Group was also fined $20,000 and ordered to pay $414,000 in civil penalties Wednesday. It has been barred from Department of Defense contracts for three years.

The San Antonio-based company, which does business as Remedy Intelligent Staffing, pleaded guilty in January to hiring illegal immigrants and trying to cover it up by falsifying employment eligibility forms. The workers were hired for Wornick Co., which makes MREs _ or "meals ready-to-eat."

The investigation was initiated in February 2003 after an al-Qaida operative was arrested with information pointing to McAllen and Wornick as terrorist targets. Wornick had been awarded a $47 million contract to produce more than 1.1 million MREs for U.S. forces in Iraq.

The FBI's Joint Terrorism Task Force ran background checks on Wornick employees and found hundreds of temporary employees with fraudulent documentation.

No direct link to terrorism was found.

Cheap wages, no benefits, hundreds of American jobs taken, a 47 MILLION dollar comtract to make 1.1 MILLION MRE's.

Lets see, thats a little over 4 million dollars per MRE. Pretty good, don't you think??? What a rip off!!

What would you have us do? Shoot the illegals? Check every brown skinned person for a green card? We can't police the country. All we can do is show our disgust at the polls. Govt doesn't care what we think. If they did G.W. wouldn't be president, now would he? Remember the "Popular vote?"

I want this to be a Communist nation. But the wants of the people cannot be met by the Government, because if they were, everyone would be rich, no one would be fat, and everyone would be the President. The government doesn't care about voices like ours. ACP is the way to go. Vote for ACP in '08
