please tell me what to do. i'm being chased by debt collectors for my $700 debt and i have lost $1000 of my mom's savings. it's all beacuse my craziness of using it for betting at the world cup. my mom already knowed about my $700 debt, but still don't know that i drained up her savings. she'll be very disappointed of me, i am her only hope to keep living on this world, but now i'm ruining it all. i cannot go gome right now with this situation, bouncers are ready to beat me up and how can i face my mom? i'm so confused. the worse thing is that 2 days again i'll have my exams, how can i possibly concentrate? i tried to sell my soul to satan, but it still didn't work out. i tried to lend money from my friends, but they don't have that much. i turned off my phone, i don't have the guts to accept call from my angry beater brother. what should i do, i'm helpless. somebody help me! my time's running out. i'm scared that i'm so desperate i'll go suicide.. please help me, i can't think anymore

first of all this is a REAL thing going on. well, i wish i just can go home and tell her straight away about this problem. the real problem is that how do i pay that debt? my mom's broke with zero money on the bank, that's all beacuse, how am i suppose to pay the debt? betting here in indonesia is a big matter. you lose then you got to pay instantly, it's not like that kind of company that lend you money, that will sue you later. we place a bet to someone that will send his bouncers if we refuse to pay our loses. i'll get my bones cracked if i can't pay soon. about the exams, i don't have the guts to campus since i've already been threatened to watch my back everywhere, that includes my own home and campus. i can't eat, i can't sleep, i can't go home. what should i do? that's why i was interested to sell my soul for satan, hoping there's quick cash to put on my life back again

it's 5 AM here right now, i still turned off my phone, i don;t know what to do, i have no money in my wallet. i'm at my usual internet rental right now. they won't mind if i pay the fee next week. i can't go home, i 'm still panic right now, plus i have mortgage? (i don't know the correct english verb) my bikes to pay some debt which is insignificant to the total amount. so i'm done and finished. one more hour the sun will rise, yet i wish the time would stop or even better if i could turn back time. or should stop my own time

No amount of money is worth your life, hun. I've seen people with hundreds of thousands of dollars of debt come out ok. First of all, do the honorable thing and tell your mother what you have done. Your honesty will be appreciated and you can enlist her help with the other debt. For right now, concentrate on your exams, you cannot go far without education. Look into getting a loan (student loan maybe?) to pay off the bouncers, then look for a job to pay off the loan. You need to nip this at the bud. Don't keep borrowing money unless it's from a legitimate business (i.e. bank) and for christ's sake stop gambling.

First, I pray that God's peace be with you. Second, it's only money; it's not the end of the world. From what you've said, you owe about $1,700. You also sound like a student. First thing is do you have a job? How long have you been working there and how much do you make? Are you able to get a small personal loan to pay off the debt? This would probably be your first option, provided you don't have any friends or relatives that can help you first.
You also stated you have a gambling problem. You need to get some help, and by that I mean counseling. Forget about making a bet to try and win the money to pay off the debt. Gambling is what got you in this mess to begin with, so it's not the answer to get you out. If you have a job, keep working, and see if there are other things you can do to earn more money.
Talk to your mom. Go to her with a sincere, forgiving heart, but make sure you have a plan worked out, or at least something explainable to show her that you can and will replace what you've taken. The worst case is she gets angry and throws you out or abandons you or both. Either way, you still owe the money. Get to work, find some funding from whatever source you can, and get rid of the debt. But above all, sit down in a quiet place, and pray to God. Really pray. Tell Him everything, then, get some help for your gambling problem.

First of all, you need to clome clean about this to your mom. If you are all she has in this world, then you should care about how finding you dead in a ditch would make her feel. Secend, get some help for your gambeling problem because you are obviously addicted to it. DO NOT PLACE ANYMORE BETS WITH THE THOUGHT THAT YOU CAN "BREAK EVEN" BECASUE YOU WON'T; YOU ARE TOO FAR INTO THE GAME FOR THAT! You should go to shcool, show your face and let these SOB's know that you are not afraid of them. If someone tries to lay a hand on you, be smart and call the police. They may not be able to get you out of debt, but at least they can help you keep your legs. You might want to get in contact with a debt consolidation company that will help you pay off your debt and keep it that way. I hope this helps and I wish you all the luck!

Sorry for you, but you are in deep shi.! But nothing to worry so much, you have first of all to talk to your mother, go straight to her and explain her everything, in the end she is your mother and she loves you, she will understand you and both of you have to try together to do something about this problem and next time don't' bet anymore, because betting is not very successful business if we can call it like that! Do not give your soul to Satan because it's not worth of doing it, just think about it!
The worst thing that can happen to you, had already happened because you will disappoint your mother when she finds out what you have done with her savings, but try to get a loan from a bank, or try to ask from your relatives to help you now when you need help! And also move your butt and get to work something, finish with your exams, make yourself strong and do something that you will get you out of this situation! May God help you!!!

What happens if you kill yourself? ~Sorry, I couldn't resist answering a question with another question, but seriously, have you considered that? Life sucks, but we are here for a reason, so you gotta look into it on your own, and figure out why. Any questions, ask me, I'll try to help out to answer em as best as I can. Hiding from your mom isn't going to help, because you apparently need allies. What is the legal status of such bets in Indonesia? Do they let people just run around, beating the crap out of gamblers who can't pay up? Even if they do, a few broken bones is still better than killing yourself, in my opinion.
In the future, don't bet on sporting events, especially with money that isn't yours.

Sounds like you need to grow up and be a man about it. Killing one self is a stupid and cowardly way to make something even worse. So if you do that, not only do you hurt the ones you love, you also take away the means to repay the ones you love.
It seems bad now.. suck it up, do what is right and then pay the piper, live one day at a time.

First of all, harming yourself is not the answer. That will only hurt your mother beyond belief.

It sounds like you have been looking for fulfillment in all the wrong places. what will it take to get you to accept the fact that you need more than money in your life? you have already found the way not to go now how about the right way.?

Suicide is not your answer. Go to your Mother she loves you and you need to be honest with her. The people who want to hurt you, I don't know what to say. It may be time for you to face what you created. Believe me I sympathize with you but you have to realize what you have done and hopefully you'll survive this and vow to never get yourself in this situation again. God be with you NOW.

whatever happens, never sell you soul to satan. if you believe in satan, then you must believe in God. pray to God. pretend he is your father, and has everything you need. you might think that i'm stupid for suggesting it, but it is the real truth. it helps me. pray to God, ask him what to do, ask him for help. don't think about how he will answer you. just believe. have the faith. God didn't give you a life for you to take it away. he gave a life for a purpose. You just have to live for the purpose. please do this, i'm christian, and it's my job to try to save your life.
