Every where I look, books, magazines, tv, etc., I see every kind of paranormal subjects. It has not always been this way in my lifetime. People were curious in the past, of course, but the public interest was nothing like it is now.

I don't think it really is an increase in people being interested, it is a increase in media attention to people's interest in the paranormal.

Look at the 20th century. The early 1900's had
tried capturing photos of ectoplasms. Then seances, Houdini's career, Sir Arthur Conan Doyle believing in pictures of forest fairies. Monster movies, attacks from outer space. Tales from the crypt comic books. Michael Jackson's Thriller. Rob Zombie, Resident Evil Video games. And this is just popular entertainment!

What you are seeing is more people admitting they believe in the paranormal.

I have always been interested in the paranormal which has led me on the path of studying as a psychic medium and also doing a course on psychical research
i do feel a lot of these programmes though are misleading people about the paranormal but gets them curious enough to do some of their own investigations into it .. so alls good there
i feel only because of this media publicity of the paranormal are more people " openly " interested but as someone mentioned previously .. it has always been there

The interest of the paranormal has been around since the occult movement in Victorian times. It has come in and out of the public eye for ages since then. I think it is because we are becoming more in tune with the unseen world and with spirits. It has nothing to do with the end times, but rather that we as a society are becoming more psychically aware and spiritually awakend. We are accepting that we are not the end all and be all of life. That there may be something else beyond the physical realm. As we continue to grow and open our minds spiritually more and more will be revealed.

All of these thing's are leading up to the end time's DECEPTION. It take's the devil a while to DECIEVE People, just like it take's a while for GOD to TEACH HIS KID's TRUTH!!! It's the Way we were Made (CREATED) that make's it this way.
A Human Being is Very DEEP, Spiritually, Mentally and Physically, it take's time. The hitler that WE KNEW, wasn't Born in a Day.
Accept JESUS CHRIST as your SAVIOUR (if you haven't already) and you wil not have to Worry bout' a thing in the World!!!!! (unless you just want to!!!!) Ditto!!!!!

There has always been a waxing and waning interest in things of a paranormal nature, folks like riddles that they cannot explain.

People are waking up to the power of our minds. Those with skills in this area can now network, not feeling so alone and feel free to talk about it now. There's shows all over the networks about them too, which generates more interest.

Welcome to the evolution!

I agree with you, that it has always been out there. But now, with more people not going to church, and being basically athiest, they're resorting to other things. The paranormal has always intriqued people for years, I think because of it's lack of answers. No one can prove it, nor can they disprove it. Best of luck to you..........
