considering the various religions have indeed a common ground in that they are belief systems built to satisfy the human need for society, I would say that the 'how' mostly involves removing the politics associated. Separation of Church and State means no one need be made to feel threatened for their beliefs. No one should be judged by another for their belief. Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Hindi, Pagan ... all have a stake in maintaining a just and equitable society. Self styled 'leaders' mess it up for us.

all of them together did not have anything in common except that they were all human beings. but, Moses, Muhammad and Jesus were Prophets. Krishna, i don't know who the hell he is. Buddha is a debatable character. some muslim scholars say he was a Prophet known as Al Kifli. that is an unproven theory.
but whoever he was, he defenitely is not God as Buddhists believe.
various religions will never find common grounds. people need to find the common religion of God.

Well I have an opinion on this question, having come from a strict religion/cultist practice lets say, when looking at all of the various religions and spiritual practices such as what you have asked it seems that all have the common goal of living a good life and after death there is some goal to be obtained either going to heaven or becoming one with the universal self.

God chose Moses to lead His (God's) people. That is the connection that links Moses and Jesus. The One True God.
As for "religions" ever finding common ground... aint go'na happen... ever.
religion is mans invention for mans purposes...do you really think mankind.... on it's own, by it's own inventions, will ever achive unity among all people.... dream on.
But God has provided a way, The Way, for all men to come to him, And for all who do so in The Way He proscribes, to achive unity under God.
The Christian Faith is not "religion", it is one-on-one with God and personal. Those of the Christian Faith do not follow man invented religion, doctrin, or dogma. No man dictates the relationship between God and His people. Those who are of The One True Church of which Jesus The Christ is The Head.

Hi, im a Baha'i and there is a big difference between the Baha'i faith and Islam, the Baha'i faith is a new world independent religion and we want Unity in Diversity , peace on earth, We believe in all the Manifestations of God and ours too : The Bab and Baha'u'llah, so yes we actually believe in Krishna. All the Prophets come from ONE God, all the Prophets are in Spirit the same.

Different religions will never find common grounds because there is always that battle about whos belief is right and whos is wrong.
And all of those, they are Deities ya !?

Law is common to all such mentioned, and thereby division common to all such; For grace and law cannot co-exist in peace, since they are "contrary" things, as contrary as life and death. So law has to go for there to peace with God, which is notably "through Jesus->Christ", and the "Christ" thereof is the "end of the law"(Romans 10:4), "our peace who hath abolished the the law"(Ephesians 2:14).
As for finding common ground, finding advice is "find grace" at "the throne of grace" where only mercy is obtainable for all, as the incorruptible crown of corruptible and incorruptible crowns.
The "grace" of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Yes, there can be peace if you stop trying to find similarities or disimilarities between them. Just let other cultures be. We need to be a tolerant human society that celebrates diversity. Why does there have to be one religion. God didnot create one kind of plant, animal. Similarly he created different cultures too so just accept it!

I believe the point of having such diverstity is to actually defy common ground.
So much suffering is a result of such religions and this is a testament to the challenges of your question.
If only there was one "Book" And in it, it read, make peace.
But there isn't.
