how come american peanut butter tastes a whole lot better than english?

i am english and always used to like sun pat peanut butter but since working for an american family i prefer theirs , the same as prefering american mustard!!!

You should come over here and try the "Whole Earth" brand of peanut butter. I buy it all the time as it doesn't contain any artificial muck. Unlike the mass-produced superstore junk on which you lot over there thrive. I know what I'm talking about as I have tried peanut butter in the States, and it's not a patch on ours. Before you slag off our food brands, make sure you've been here first, as I am of the opinion that you are talking out of your back-side.

stale peanuts, and substituting veg oit for peanut oil, peanut oil is valuable, so they sell it off and replace it with soybean oil... tastes gross. read your label. should just be salt and peanuts...
