That's about normal. But if it stays sore much longer you might want to see if any of the bone got cracked where the tooth was pulled: That has been known to happen before.

Meanwhile, try using extra mouthwash. That has alchohol in it, which can dull pain.

Good luck!

Two weeks isn't that long but if it is still sore to touch then maybe call your dentist and ask. There is always a possibility of infection or even part of the root might not have been removed completely.

Your doctor should have scheduled a follow-up appointment. Especially after a tooth extraction.

Don't worry. I had 4 wisdom teeth pulled and had bare bone exposed for a few weeks and another few weeks unto the gum tissue started to fill in the stinky holes. Then about 6 months to "feel normal" and one year to completely forget about it.

Go and get an xray , you might have a broken jaw. A doctor should give you a professional opinion

It could be an infection of the pulled tooth area, or it could be that you have gotten a foriegn object in the hole.

I don't know but you would want to go to a dentist(doctor will do) to get that checked out because it sounds like it's serious.

Thats normal I think, Just imagine if you had a hole in your arm like that...it would make your arm hurt, just like if you get stabbed in the hand your hand hurts all around...
