I agree with the first answer. What a lot of people don't realize is that a dog is totally different from a person. You bathe them too much and you can dry out their skin. Always use a shampoo that's made for your pet, never a human shampoo. The ph is different, thus you'll start drying out the skin and eventually the dog will develop skin problems. As far as what kind of shampoo with a dog with curly hair, it really wouldn't matter, it's actually your choice. You don't want to wash a dog no more than once a week....unless there is some type of emegency. Otherwise, go to a pet store, and look around, ask for assistance if you have to. Then decide what is better for your dog. Also, many vets sell pet care products also, but they can be more expensive. Best of luck to you and your dog..........

I like Davis Vet products or Bio-Groom. Both make good conditioning shampoos. Use a dog creme rinse or conditioner after the shampoo. Make a BIG difference on curly or coarse coats..
