I had visitation rights and tried to use them, even took a cop with me and still wouldn't let me see her. It takes money to get a lawyer and I make to much for legal aid. Her father thinks I am going to kidnap her. I just want to see my daughter, I haven't seen her since she was 2.

Get an attorney! You may want to check with Legal Aid for advice first.

You don't have a lot of options. I would find a lawyer referral service and see if I could purchase a lawyer for a small fee even if it took me forever to collect it.
If you have court ordered visitation rights and he is in violation of that order you can take him for contempt of court. In most states it is only fine. But if it happens too often the other parent could end up loosing custodial rights.
if you don't take some kind of action you just will never get her. You may end up having to pay a small lawyer fee, but this is your daughter and she should be well worth the sacrifice. The faster you get started the better....

It's not up to her father to not allow you to see your daughter, unless the courts have ordered that you are not to see her. Contact a lawyer or the State (Department of Human Services) and they can assist you.

her dad can't be home alll the time shee is right?!? so call when the father isn't home, and request that you wanna talk to her. orr go to her school or something. i dun have a clue. but if my dad didn't let me see my mom, i'd be furious!

how does he not let you see her? he can't just decide you can't, what did you do to make him think you are a bad influence? go to court and get visitation rights then there is nothng he can do about it.

take him to court.....cuz if you don't get in contact with her, she is going to grow up hurt, because of not knowing you, or she's going to hate you..........get the law envolved.....
