You can lick an oral thermometer, but you can only feel the rectal one under your arm pitt or between your tighs.

You Have got to be kidding ,.. ?????, i'm sure you din't meanthat question out right ... so i'll go from that,. They say you can get a better , more accurate temp reading from your rectum as opposed to your mouth which you can open an get a false reading ,... kinda hard to do from ya bum, and i will add,. just in caes you did mean it outright ,. the oral one goes in your mouth and the rectal goes,..well in ya rectum ,. since you are from done-under ,. i'll say your bum

different ends of the body. Rectal is often coated with plastric and has a stop so you dont loose it.
