Only time can make the pain less intense. It is so hard to lose a pet. Many people do not understand how strong the bond between pet and owner can be and may not understand what you are going through. Someday you may want another pet - when your heart has healed a bit and there is room in your heart to love a pet again. Meanwhile, cherish the memories you have of the time you've spent with your pet.

Hmmm..... I wish I could give you a comforting hug. Just think though, your little kitten is now rubbing and purring against God's ankles.
Take care of yourself. When the time is right, take all this love within you and share it with a homeless kitty. The kitty will love you for giving it a home, you will be happy, and your kitten will look down at you from the Rainbow bridge and purrrr.

Sorry, I do know how you feel. I have cats and I love them very much. The loneliness is what will get you. They are so much company. I say get another kitten as soon as possible. If you are near me, I will give you one. I live in the East Bay, in Pinole, CA.
Hope you feel better soon.

...love knows not its own depth until the hour of separation.
-Kahlil Gibran
Time is
Too slow for those who wait,
too swift for those who fear,
too long for those who grieve,
too short for those who rejoice.
But for those who love,
Time is not.
-Henry van Dyke
**I am so sorry about your kitty. There are many comforting stories in this book, but I can't type them all. I hope you do receive some words of comfort today.
May God bless you in this time of sorrow.
