"Stephen Colbert asks [Georgia Representative Lynn Westmoreland], the one who sponsored the bill to display the 10 commandments in Congress, to name the 10 commandments...." Enjoy.

Frankly, I don't think I could name them all. I figure if I can remember the big ones that that's pretty good.
Out of order: 1. don't lie 2. don't steal 3. don't kill 4. don't covet your neighbor's wife (husband) 5. don't worship false idols 6. keep the Sabbath holy 7. honor your father and mother 8. don't say the Lord's name in vain 9. don't commit adultery 10. ?? (pretty close though)

"Selective obedience" is a nice way of putting it. Yep, we're all sinners. Supposedly, the more we go to church, the easier it should be to follow God's will. Surrounding ourselves with like-minded people should help. We'll want to be free from the chains of sin, so we can be closer to God.

PS I don't go to church right now.

I like to obey 100%.

'It is impossible to obey the bible 100%, because we are imperfect."

I disagree. Jesus did it so we can do it.

But I have not reached Jesus level of obedience yet. But He is not through with me yet either.

It is impossible to obey the bible 100%, because we are imperfect. But, we have to try;1John 3:22-24. We all have the problem of Paul; ....

.....'when I wish to do right, what is bad is present with me. I really delight in the law of God, according to the man I am within, but I behold in my members another law warring against the law of my mind and leading me captive to sin's law that is in my members. Miserable man that I am. Who will rescue me from the body undergoing this death. Thanks to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So, then, with my mind I myself am a slave to God's law, but with my flesh to sin's law. Romans7:21-25

I follow the NT.

So no, most of us don't follow all of the Bible, because we believe that the NT (New Testament = actually a new covenant) is what we are bound by because Christ sacrificed Himself for us.
