You do not have to buy one. Just go to local library and look up the guns there. ( write down info on gun and take that, most library's would get upset if you take gun) Or some library's will let you check the book out.

www.gunbroker.com - on this auction site you can get a good idea of their value....you can see what's up for bid now and by checking "going going gone" you can find out what you have has sold for in the past 90 days....
