If you dig this guy, tell him straight out that you'd consider giving him a chance when he gets rid of his ex. It's all about respect. You dont ever want to get involved with someone who is still attached to an ex, that'd be pathetic. Tell him that if you were ever to get involved in a relationship with him, you will not have any ex-boyfriends as friends and would not like his ex-girlfriends in the picture either. It's as simple as that. Honestly, I dont think he really cares for you or he would've avoided being seen with his girlfriend, I think you need to move on. Good luck. For the rest of the readers: Guys, if you ever agree to a relationshiop with a chick who keeps her ex as a friend, you are a total L O O S S E R!!!

Well, I would probably be more worried about the situation if I didn't have personal experience with one that was similar. I am actually very good friends with my ex, and it is just that - friends. It was really hard for my new boyfriend to get used to that at the beginning, but he trusts me and agrees with me in that I shouldn't feel like I have to give up a good friend, just because we were involved romantically at one point. Maybe you should just ask him about it, it could be something similar.

Well...he could be Friends with his Ex. Just because they are not a couple does not say that they can't be Friends. It's even more likely if there are kids involved.
So, you can give him the benefit of the doubt, or just dump him....depends on how crazy you are...
