Ugh! Being flea-infested is no fun! As I know, having had to live in flea-infested places before.

A nice hot bath with vinegar and baking soda will help with the itch, and just about any good soap will strip the oil off the nasty little buggers so they'll drown.

After that, wash everything you were wearing and vacuum the dickens out of the place so they can't jump back on. And keep vacuuming every day so you can be sure you've gotten all the fleas and the eggs.

Good luck!

Dog shampoo is safe to use on humans. The problem is the environment. Your vet has a safe and pleasant smelling pesticide that you can use.Thorough cleaning is necessary and treat your dogs. They probably infested the house with fleas Good luck.

You could try seven dust. You can find this in nurseries that sell plants. I use it in my vegetable garden for pest and sprinkle my dog and cat with it for fleas. They don't have fleas and I don't have pests. It's very safe.
