This has never totally proven. There are several good thoughts and theories. There are even some pretty good satellite photos of Mt. Ararat in Turkey out on the Internet that would suggest that it is Noah's Ark. But there have been several expeditions trying to find the ark, but none have ever gotten close enough to confirm or deny the photos. There was even one that had a Navy SEAL on the team and they could not get to it.

There are some studies go currently underway on a site in Iran. Some material that has been removed from that site is currently being studies. Visit the link below for pictures and more information. It is still too early in the research to make a definitive answer.

Addition: For those who talk about Mount Ararat being in Turkey, you need to re-read the Biblical text:

Genesis 8:4

and in the seventh month, on the seventeenth day of the month, the ark came to rest on the mountains of Ararat.

So, it is not Mount Ararat, but rather a mountain in the region of Ararat, which could encompass a much larger area, including modern-day Iran.

It's been reported that it has been found from several sources. Broken into two main pieces, it resides on Mt. Ararat, under Iranian or Turkish control. They do not allow anyone to visit the site, and the mount itself is considered sacred to them. Pictures apparently do exist, and there was a TV documentary about a decade ago. There was an expedition as well, which brought back some of the wood, and it was confirmed to be gopher wood, not native to that region.

No, they THINK they found the place where noah's ark landed, but there is no actual proof. And since its in Iran, they may never find out.

Of course it's true. Everything is true. Magic is real. Curses work. If you gut a chicken you can read your fortune in its steaming entrails. Santa Claus is a member of my gym (but it doesn't seem to be doing him any good). And the Easter Bunny lives under a gooseberry bush in my backyard.

What else do you wanna know?

Yes, it is true that you heard that. They just found something on a mountain in Iran that matches the size -- about the size of a small aircraft carrier.

The precise answer is NONSENSE. There is no reputable scholar, of any stripe, that buys that hogwash. Mt Ararat (yes, in Turkey) has no such thing. Goodness gracious, no wonder con men get rich.

They think they have seen it from sat pictures but have yet to find it. If the global warming thing is for real then we should find it frozen on the side of some mountain in remote China
