I have been tested for arthritis & do not have. My doctor says that the cracking is normal. If i try to sneak up on someone its like you hear fireworks of joints popping. I have also tried streching with no luck. There is no pain but, it seems like the joint sticks a little. This never happened to me when I was younger.

besure to check the cartilage in joints the cartilage acts like a type od lubricant, if you are having problems with popping the cartilage may been worn. also depending on your age be sure to have a bone density test just to be sure that everything is all right. i knoe because i have severe joint pain in both knees but i also have a bad case of osteoarthritis dont let the problem get too old befor you see a dr. especially a good orthopedic dr. he or she might be able to have some means to help with your problem.

This happens to me too. As we grow older things don't work like the used too

I read it that there are small air pockets our fluid in our joints and that snap, crackle, pop is just a release of the air and etc

I could be wrong

If you are around 40 years of age then it could be cartilage wearing out. You need to take food supplements for cartilage restoration. Please consult a doctor.
