Jesus is a mythical character formed in the early first century BCE in the fashion of the "savior god". Originally Jesus lived in a mythical realm (Hebrews 8:4) and it wasn't until later that the anonymous gospel writers created the story of Jesus as living on Earth via various allegorical tales. Although many of these tales were written, only four were chosen to be canonized in the collection of documents known as "New Testament" today. Ironically, these gospels tell similar stories in different fashion, frequently contradicting each other.

According to the later stories, Jesus, like the saviour gods before him, was born of deity and human parents and represented an ideal and a way for normal humans to reach a better existence. Unlike the previous saviour gods, however, Jesus and his father deity were extremely intolerant of other beliefs and opinions, to the point of calling down death and disfigurement to those that did not please them (Matthew 21:19, for one example).

Modern interpretations of these ancient stories credit Jesus with unlimited love and compassion, an impression the original authors would be very surprised to see indeed (Luke 19:27)! The modern interpretations also describe the end of the world coming about in the near term in the form of a cataclysmic war. The ancient authors intended this interpretation but were describing the Roman Empire and offered Jews and Christians a more positive outlook and reason for hope in such a dark time.

Jesus is not only the following to me, but He is all this to you also. For he loved us so much that he came down from heaven and suffered the cross for our sins. He paid the price of our sins. We have eternal life only by His shed blood. If we would only confess with our mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in our heart that God has raised Him from the dead, we can have life eternal.

He is my Rock and my Salvation.
He is the Beginning and the End.
He is the Alpha and the Omega.
He is the Cornerstone and the Capstone.
He is the Way, the Truth and the Life.
He is the Author and the Finisher of my faith.
He is the Ruler of all nations.
He is the Good Shepherd
He is Lion of Judah.
He is the King of Kings.
He is the Mighty Fortress.
He is the Son of God
He is the Holy One of Israel
He is the Great I Am.
He is the Hope of the Church.

There is not enough space in all the books in all the libraries, on all the hard drives on all the computers of this world to say all that Jesus is.

Jesus Christ is everything to me.. He is all I need to live. He is all I need when life looks hopeless. He is my Salvation, my First love.

When I feel alone and sad He is my company and my comfort. When my financial status is below parr and things are looking pretty destitute He is the Supplier of my needs. He even throws in some wants and makes me feel rich.

He is my Match Maker in my life. He is my Calm among the caos and confussion of life. He is my Peace and Tranquillity when it seems like there is none to be found.

Jesus Christ is the One I rely on to fight the battles that Satan tries to start everyday in my life (and yours). For life now and for eternity He is all I need or ever will need. I could go on without end so I will stop here God bless
