Personally i swallow dont like the taste much but ive been brought up being told that it is rude to spit!

It is very satisfying and intimate when a girl swallows, it is a real sign of acceptance and respect - especially if she doesn't particularly love the taste. I have been with girls who have had both reactions and you kind of have to respect her choice either way. But fortunately, a couple of my past girls really loved the taste and that made them VERY special in my mind.

It's rude if a guy doesn't give you warning, and it's rude if he expects you to swallow. Also, unless you're in a hugely committed relationship you shouldn't be sucking a guy off w/o a condom, whereupon the whole spit/swallow debate becomes non-existent. You can get S.T.I.s in your throat, you know.
