The last supper is believed to have been the Jewish passover meal (occuring just before Easter). Even tdoay at the end of every passover meal, everyone says "Next year in Jerusalem". Jesus and all his disciples were Jewish so it is natural they celebrated passover in Jerusalem.

The last supper wasn't the problem. It was the stroll in the garden afterwards where the bad stuff began to happen. Gotta watch those late night walks.....

Yes, it is assumed by Christians it was in Jerusalem. We have scant record of it, as the reports of the event are by people who weren't there.
