I just dont get it someone please explain to me how you can love someone that you have never met and that has been dead for over 1000 years? Especially cause he didnt do anything for you. I mean really Wtf?

give it to em straight. that doesnt make any sense to me either. by the way if he came back from the dead, wouldnt that make him a zombie? and if jesus gave his life for our sins why are there still sins in the world? and if jesus could die and come back to life, it wouldnt be that big of a deal for him to die in the first place now would it?

Maybe you should read the Gospel accounts in the Bible. Jesus WAS (physically) dead. (for about 2 and a half days). Then He was raised from the dead by the Father (we have eyewitness testimony of this). He later ascended into Heaven and has been there ever since and will one day soon come back to collect His people and then eventually establish His own kingdom on the earth, and will rule the Earth for 1000 years (the Millenium), and then will after the final judgement (where He judges all men and women who have ever lived, and judges their eternal state (whether they go to Heaven or Hell), following which He will rule in Heaven for all of Eternity Future. His life, death, and resurrection is probably the most historically established fact of the ancient (or even the modern) world.
Btw, from your question I can see we have a difference of opinion about what a "fact" is. A fact is something that can be repeatedly observed over and over by people.

he gave his life for you. without him you wouldnt be able to enter into the presence of god. Jesus said 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.' John 14:6. Jesus is always in our presence. You just never took the time to feel him there.
He is not dead. He is the living son of God. He raised up from the dead after the 3rd day. We don't love him more than our family, we love him as our family. when you put jesus first your life is so much better therefore you can love your family better. im not trying to get you to convert in to any religion but dont critize christians because you dont understand the way we do things. try going to church once in awhile and see the difference in your life.

To love something, first we need to believe it whole heartedly.
You love and can do anything for a person, if ur convinced that the person did a great favour for u or has sacrifised his life for U.
here the basic human psychology works ! We LOVE ourselves more than anything else. We Love God or Jesus whatever because he did something for US. If he didn't do, then what ?
If he didn't sacrifise his life for ur sins, then does he becomes human. Human beliefs are self centered and biased.
We need a lot of broad mindedness to come out of these all things. Religion, God, Holy Books all survive on our beliefs.
If we understand in broad sense, we realise that we are a part of a great creation and guided by some infinite intelligence. we all are neighbours in same world, so lets help each other to live happily and make our lives better. What if u believe in one religion or other ? what if u love Jesus or allah or any other God, if u cannot love ur fellow beings ????

I have met Him. In 1991 when I asked HIm in my heart and it's been an amazing journey so far and my future is even brighter. I love Jesus cause He first loved me.
When I was doing my own thing including cursing and hating God He still loved me.
He gave His life as a ransom for all. He who was sinless became all sin. If that's not love then I don't know what is.

It is a fact that Jesus was dead and was raised from the dead by GOD to show people that it will be life after death. Jesus also raised Lazerous from the dead and heal many people. Jesus is not dead he went threw a transformation and came back to show all his followers that they should keep spreading the Gossple and keep telling people about GOD. Go to church and keep praying one day you will get all your answers, but you need to ask GOD in praying that will tell you when you lease expect the answers to come. Just keep trusting GOD. I will pray for you.
How can I love someone thaat care so much for me to come down from heven to be torcher and died and to teach other about heaven. To show people that devils do exist spiritually. Read (Mathew in the BIBLE) and tell me what you think about Jesus and devils.

i don't think of Jesus feels this way in any respect. i imagine Jesus feels damage!! Aahhh, but Jesus is not dead. He rose on the 3rd day and conquered sin and death. That's what makes Him so precious. If you don't believe me, just ask Him to make Himself real to you and come in to your heart.
Talk to Jesus just as if He's right there with you. Ask Him to show Himself real to you. Let me know what happens.

There is no evidence he ever existed other than the bible which is highly suspect. For someone who was supposed to have been such a pain and hinderance to the Romans it is very strange that there is not one mention of him in their records.
Religion is for those that need it. As long as they do not seek to inflict it on others they should be left to get on with it.

Jesus died on the cross for all of us.He has risen from the dead and his spirit lives among us all. He has done plenty for me.With out him no one would have a family.You as everyone else has the chance to believe in him,that he died on the cross for (ME) and everyone so our sins may be forgotten.I don't have to meet him in person that is what faith is. So he has done something for me. I ignore your last sentence.
