I mean out of their regular duties, not out of boot camp. To me, this is a serious issue, and I would only like serious, and not sarcastic comments.

About 3-4 days depending on how you feel. you may be sent back into training again, or be re-assigned to another squad to catch up.

When someone is in boot camp... that is their regular duty. Like the other person said, it is very doubtful that while in boot camp you would have any teeth pulled unless an emergency. Before going to boot camp a person goes through medical and dental screenings. If it were necessary to have a tooth or teeth pulled it would be done before starting boot camp. If a person is active duty and has teeth pulled they get a doctors slip that has orders for the person to stay home for a few days.

I had all 4 of my wisdom teeth out at once and it hurt and I was not able to do anything on that day (they put you right out for all 4) and for days after I was careful about eating (mainly just ate soup).
But other than eating soup there should not be a reason to be out of basic training for more than a day or two (different people react to anaesthesia in different ways though).

You should only be out the day it is pulled, unless he bleeds a lot. They usually suture it now days. You can control the pain fairly easily, but don't think a couple Ibuprofen are going to do it! may 4 to 6!

A lot of physical exercise for a few days should be avoided!

If you do it on a Friday, you should be fine by Sunday. My 16 yr old granddaughter had 4 pulled at once and was eating by the next morning. It's no big deal

The only way they'll pull wisdom teeth at basic is if it's an absolute emergency. I wouldn't suggest having it done, because then you would get recycled, and they can send you back to the beginnin if they want. If they need to come out, they'll gladly pull them at your first duty station. They'll pull them out then even if they don't need to.

Probably a few days to a week. Its not a really serious surgery and it doesnt take to long to heal.

Depends on how they heal but shouldn't take more than 2-4days.

I was SIQ (sick in quarters) for about a day or two. Is a good time to catch up on sleep!
