I mean, if you live in the northern part of the US, you have snow and ice and just three months of warm/hot weather. If you live in the southern part, say Florida, you have warm weather most of the time, bugs almost all the time, and don't forget the hurricanes! Excluding the ideal of living in the north during the summer and living in the south during the winter, please choose... and why. (No dissertations, please.)

Briefly, when I first moved to FL 16 years ago, I was able to go to the beach my first New Year's Eve day!!! I mean, in the water. Now, of course, I can't. But the water is pure, and you can see the little fish that swim around your feet. If you go out on a boat or snorkeling, you can enjoy the wonders of the ocean. People scuba year-around in FL, really, and it is wonderful!!! I think the definitive answer is that nature is wonderful, really, and can be enjoyed whereever you are. BTW, last year during Hurricane Wilma, the eye went right over us -- if a hurricane can be awesome, this was totatlly awesome. Hard to explain, but... I survived Wilma and found it to be an awesome experience.
