Actually this could be the case or not but it does not necessarily occur because of being inbred. The gene for albinism is recessive. It is generally carried by the female and passed to the male off-spring. The term "Albino" refers to a lack of pigment in the skin, hair, and eyes. The link below has some good information related to Albinism in humans.

It is the result of a natural mutation, and occurs in almost every animal population. The white tigers that Sigfried and Roy have are a bit inbreed to continue this albino trait, but whoever told you a story about deer was wrong.

It's an old wive's tale. People like to joke that 'different' looking people are inbred. It's ridiculous. Albinism is caused from being born with only a little bit of melanin (the stuff that colors your hair, eyes, and skin). It happens to humans as well as animals.

Not true, although albinism is more likely to appear in inbred animals.

Albinism is a trait carried in a recessive gene- meaning you won't see the characteristic UNLESS the same gene also is in the other parent. Then it just might happen.
