You may not have to get a perm at all.... my hair is wavy and I get it quite curly by blow drying on medium heat and low blower with a diffuser you can buy at a beauty supply store. You have to "scrunch" it with your hand as you blow dry it. I also use a special mousse that is suppossed to enhance wavy or curly hair. It seems to work.

Well, you could get a perm. Call around some beauty salons. There is probably a range in prizes. Try to get someone's referral who has hair you like.

i just got a perm at a local beauty school for $18 and i love it. if you don't want a perm, there are shampoos specially designed to define the curl in your hair. not sure of the names, tho. good luck!

remember. what ever you do, if you dont take good care of your hair now, you may start loosing it or start going grey prematurely. So what ever you use to curl it, try not to use heat and too many chemicals.
