I don't think circumcision for either sex is a good idea. Leave your parts where they are! You know we really don't need that little flap of skin at the bottom of the ear or our pinky toes either!
For males some ppl do it for religious reasons but the majority of ppl do it for cleanliness or because that is what they think they should do (myself included with my 3 boys). Years ago ppl decided that the skin around the head was hard to clean and I imagine alot of little boys, around age 7-9 when you stop bathing them but they are not real concerned about being clean, got infections. So some genius decided to just wack the skin off. I had my oldest son cicumcised because I didn't know any better (i was only 21) then had the other 2 boys done so they would all look the same (didn't want anyone getting a complex) but if I had it to do over I would not get it done. It is an unnecessary procedure, painful and supposedly if you leave the skin on they have a better sex life when older.
The only reason i have ever heard of for a woman to be circumcised is to prevent sexual pleasure. I don't think many women in America have it done. So far as I know, i've never met a woman who has anyway. Then again it is probably a very personal thing you don't talk about much.

I think that female circumcision is wrong and demeaning to a woman. I knew someone that lived in africa and was circumsized. It is a very scary and traumatic ritual. Male circumcision is fine. It is Biblical and it helps prevent infection.

OMG!!! I regret having my son circumcised. Women in tribes have it done it's mutiltion to keep them faithful. they remove the clitoris so they won't enjoy sex. It's not for hygeine and health like males.

Only men can have that done not women and only women can have babys. Read your Bible and you will know the answer.

Ummm, I dont think women can be circumcized unless they did it before their sex change operation.
