My girlfriend wants to get an angel credit card from Victoria's Secret. If she applies in store, will she be able to have it that day? How does the whole process work?

I used to work at VS. You can apply that day for a Angel card, and you get like 10% off the purchase if you get approved. They will give you a little temporary card until the real one comes in the mail. The good thing about the card is that you get special coupons in the mail for FREE panties, $5 off of bras and a special coupon to be used during the month of the cardholders birthday. Bill is paid on a monthly basis and can be paid in the store, on the computer or by mail. Angel cards are also upgraded after you spend a certain amount of money. Hope this helps.

Applying for many credit cards will hurt your credit score. Also boutique in-store cards tend to have very bad terms. People applying in the store don't take as much time reading the material as they would at home so they get hood winked.
If you are looking for a discount find coupons on the web, or wait for a sale.

They have to do a credit check first. If all goes well then she should be able to get the actual credit card within a couple of weeks. Now if it is a Store CARD only, then she should get it that same day.

When you apply for a credit card in store and then approved you get a percent (usually 10-35%) off the first purchase with your card and you can use it that day. When you get approved they give the sales associate your card number. So you can start shopping right away.

You can get approval to use the credit line the first day and most store make you put your first purchase on the card. I also think they will give you a temporary card until the real one comes in the mail. There is no monthly charge for the card.

I was approved that day at the store and could charge right then. They do a credit check then if all is well you will receive your card in the mail in about 10 days.No fee.

You have to activate account first and then get a plastic card. You can apply through online or offline both ways. And you can use plastic card physically or online as per your need.
