if so, has anyone received a va subsistence allowance checks for the month of July.

I believe you only get voc rehab if you are rated at 30% or more disability and can no longer do what you were trained to do in the military. Don't know about subsistence but my retirement check is generally a couple days late on being deposited when the 1st is on a weekend/holiday as is the case for July.

Call here and ask. These people at Brooke Army Hospital are supposed to be the best in the world.

don't really know about that but my husbands retirement check is in my bank and available to me via atm at 12:01 a.m. on the 1st of every month no matter if holiday or weekend.

ATTENTION ALL RETIRES:

If your retirement check is posted late to YOUR ACCOUNT its not the DFAS FAULT.....IT YOUR BANK.....DFAS releases pay to all banks at 23:59 on the last WORKING DAY of the month. IT YOUR BANK that decide when to post to your account..... if you have a problem contact your bank.
