I have downloaded Norton Anti Virus, but doesnt seem to being anygood. Can anybody reccommend anything?

Friends brother is a computer programmer and recommended this I love it.

Nod32, AVG use to be decent but other programs surpass it, Kaspersky is probably the best but unlike nod32 and... like norton it is a resource hog.

AVG from grisoft.com. (You may have to hunt a little for the free version as they keep moving the link)

Also download and run Ad-aware from Lavasoft.com, as it might be a spyware rather than a virus.

Finally install Microsoft Defender from microsoft.com to help guard against future infections.

If none of those work, please repost listing the name of the virus, then we may be able to give specific instructions for that one, as they are all different.

Norton is not the best Anti Virus.. Avg is the best and free for home users only. here is the link. let me know what you think. http://www.download-zone-free.com/avg/

nod32 or avg. i used to have norton but the viruses keep coming.. it's not very good..
