Electric.
I have a Philips Sonicare and I love it.
It was actually a birthday present that I had been asking for and I love it.
The cool thing about it, at least to me, is that it times your brushing so that you get a full 2 minutes of brushing in each time before it turns off.
Also, I think that it does a great job of cleaning my teeth and getting rid of anything between them.
