You could but I wouldn't recommend it.I especially wouldn't shampoo or conditioner it because the relaxer wouldn't last for sure.You should wait at least 2 days at least before even wetting it to be on the safe side.

I would wait 48 hours before wetting it. I had my hair professionally relaxed once and went home in the rain. By the next morning all my curls were back, luckily the people at the shop were understanding and relaxed my hair again. They told me to wait 48 hours.

yes actually on most relaxers all you really have to wait is 24hrs.
